CKD, Rick Blanco, certified member since 1996 While there are many designers who "do" kitchens, only a limited number hold credentials as Certified Kitchen Designers. A CKD must meet specific educational requirements, pass comprehensive academic and practical exams and participate in Ongoing Professional Development programs. Certified Kitchen Designers also adhere to a Code of Professional Conduct, which assures the public of their integrity.

The National Kitchen and Bath Association is a non-profit trade association that has educated and led the kitchen and bath industry for more than 50 years. The mission of the NKBA is to enhance member success and excellence by promoting professionalism and ethical business practices. Members shall not use misleading or bait advertising, false disparagement of competitors, deceptive pricing or unreliable warranties as determined and enforced by the Board of Directors of this Association."

Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce, member since 1995 This local organization promotes the educational and economic welfare of the Town of Miami Lakes thru seminars and conferences. MLCC also contributes to charitable organizations in the community like the College Scholarship Program which provides financial aid to deserving students from local high schools.
